Artist in Residence

At a young age Bernard traveled the world to discover his own heritage. He had a passion for understanding the strengths, wisdom and knowledge of his ancestors. He believes when knowledge is gained, it must be passed on, in a creative, fun and respectful way.

The Artist in Residence program will motivate students to:

Appreciate a different genre of music
Create self-esteem
Have fun
Cultivate understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism
Experience the power and excitement of dance in storytelling and the fun of movement
Develop courage as they perform in front of a live audience
